Joline Blais researches regenerative design, teaches permaculture and advises the Terrell House Permaculture Center at UMaine. She is a board member of CamdenCAN and PAN (Permaculture Association of the Northeast). and Wild Blueberry Heritage Center. Past projects include co-directing LongGreenHouse, an educational partnership with Wabanaki neighbors, emphasizing indigenous knowledge and collaboration, and working as a co-founding member of Belfast Ecovillage. She rows, skis, hikes, swims, and kayaks mostly in her home state of Maine.
