Hi I’m Alex and I’m from Old Orchard Beach, ME. I’m a student at the University of Maine pursuing a major in new media and minors in english and film. I hope to use my passion in digital storytelling to work in the field of film and video production. I also have a keen eye for nature, incorporating this beautiful planet every step of the way in the things that I create. I love going out and taking photos of the fall foliage and other landscape scenes.

I was born and raised in Cape Cod Massachusetts. I grew up going to the beach, sailing, skiing, and more. I have spent a month every year camping in Maine growing up. Because of this, I was drawn to the nature and the Maine coast. Now I spend most of my time here for school and camping and hiking in the summer.I am a Media Studies Major at the University of Maine. I double minor in New Media and Marketing. I enjoy learning about the history of media and how it affects certain groups of people. With my minors I love applying the history I learn to create my own digital media.
Avery Haskell
Born and raised in Southern Maine, the majority of my fondest memories are rooted in the state. Now, while studying at the University of Maine, I am able to work on projects that have a direct beneficial impact within my home roots. I am a current New Media major, minoring in both Graphic Design and Media Studies. I have had a love for design since I took my first Graphic Design class in my freshman year of high school, and knew I wanted to pursue something which enables me creative freedom ever since. In addition to design, I have a particular admiration for photography, which I have been able to use while capturing the picturesque essence of Maine’s environment.
